Fees and Funding
Growing Occupational Therapy welcomes children and their families who are under the following funding schemes​:
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Plan and Self-Managed only.

Growing Occupational Therapy is not registered and cannot support NDIA managed participations.
Medicare - Chronic Disease Management Plan (CMDP)
This requires a referral from your GP which entitles you to up to five subsided Allied Health Sessions per year.

Please discuss eligibility with your GP.
Private Health Insurance
Depending on your level of cover, you may be able to claim Occupational Therapy through your private health insurance. Please check with your insurer to ensure coverage.
Initial Consultation
$387.98
The first appointment is parent-only and is conducted via Microsoft Teams for approx. 120 minutes.
This involves 60 minutes discussion, and then you will be sent an outline of your goals, recommendations and plan moving forward which is billed at 60 minutes. ​​​
Therapy Session
$242.48
Our ongoing sessions are 75 minutes in duration, which includes 50 minutes face to face, 10 minutes of note taking and 15 minutes of session preparation.

Sessions are held either weekly or fortnightly.
Report Writing
$193.99 per hour
All report writing, resource making and other non-face-to-face administration is billed at $193.99 per hour.

Travel fees are billed at $193.99 per hour for a maximum of 30 minutes one way, which equates to $97.00.
Travel Fees
Travel to outreach sessions will be charged at standard NDIS travel costs. This is calculated based on time spent travelling to outreach location, up to a maximum of 30 minutes or $97 one way.
